FreightDesk — Dubai Trade assistant
Privacy policy · last updated 30 September 2026
What the extension does
On Dubai Trade's BOE screens it shows a FreightDesk panel. The user picks one of their company's shipments, and the extension types that shipment's details into the empty fields of the form on screen. It never clicks, saves or submits anything on Dubai Trade. When the user types, or the portal shows, a Carrier Registration No, BL, container, HS code or declaration number that differs from the shipment, it offers to copy that value into FreightDesk; it does so only when the user clicks Update.
What data it handles
- Shipment details from FreightDesk, read with the user's own FreightDesk sign-in, to fill the form.
- The values of the Dubai Trade form fields it fills or offers to copy back, read on the page.
- The shipment the user picked, kept in the browser's extension storage so it stays selected between screens.
It has no login of its own and stores no password or sign-in token. It works only on Dubai Trade (dubaitrade.ae) and talks only to FreightDesk.
Where data goes
Only between Dubai Trade in the user's browser and FreightDesk. Nothing is sent to Maneuver or anyone else, sold, or used for advertising, analytics or anything other than filling and updating the user's shipments. A value copied back into FreightDesk is recorded in that shipment's history under the user's name.
